A)MOUTH WASH Group:
1-TANTUM Verde®:
*Composition:
each 100 ml contains:
Benzydamine hydrochroride 0.15 g
*Properties and mode of action:
Benzydamine hydrochroride ,is locally -acting nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent with local anaethetic and analgesic properties providing both rapid and extended pain relief as well as a significant anti-inflammmatory treatment for painful inflammatory conditions of mouth ant throat
*Indications:
Gingivitis,stomatitis,glossitis,apthous ulcer,dental surgery&oral ulceration due to radiation therapy
*Dosage :
Rinse or gargle with 15 ml (1 tablesponnful
)3 times /day i.e.1×3
should be used undiluted but if stingling occur the rinse may be diluted in a ratio1:1
Not used for children who are unable to gargle
*Contra indication :
no contraindication except for hypersensitivity
*SIDE effect:
Well tolerated but occasionally oral tissue numbness may occur
